Manguard Plus Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Emily Farrell as our new Financial Controller, effective from Today. Emily brings with her a wealth of experience, a proven track record of strategic financial leadership, and a dynamic approach to business partnering.
With over 20 years of experience across both the public and private sectors, Emily has held senior finance roles in prestigious organisations including Horse Racing Ireland and Cpl Integrated Services. Her expertise spans financial planning and reporting, budget management, process improvement, strategic planning, and compliance oversight. Most recently, she served as Head of Financial Planning & Reporting at Horse Racing Ireland, where she led a team of 12 and was responsible for financial strategy, stakeholder reporting, and the successful implementation of new systems and procedures.
Emily is a qualified ACCA accountant and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Dundalk Institute of Technology. Her commitment to lifelong learning is further demonstrated by her FETAC Level 6 “Train the Trainer” qualification, reflecting a strong interest in team development and capacity building.
Throughout her career, Emily has been widely recognised for her analytical acumen, leadership skills, and solution-focused mindset. She is passionate about operational efficiency, accountability, and aligning financial management with wider organisational goals.
