Four months of preparation came together for Operation Persona, an ISRM Ireland Chapter event hosted at the U.S. Embassy in Dublin and chaired by our Chief Security Officer & Director of Client Solutions, Garry Bergin.

The aim of the day was to connect the digital signal to human judgement, bringing OSINT, intelligence grading and behavioural threat assessment into a single practical learning experience. Delegates worked through the material in a live tabletop exercise, moving through the full arc from grievance and fixation through research, planning and approach.

Particular thanks from Garry to Vice Chair Paul Kellett, who worked alongside him over the past four months to design and develop the Operation Persona tabletop exercise. There is a great deal of work behind an exercise of this depth and it was a pleasure to see it come to life on the day.
Thanks also to every delegate who took part. You worked through sustained and increasing pressure, assessed evolving information and made difficult judgement calls under time constraints – which is exactly the point of an exercise like this.

Operation Persona reflects the wider Manguard Plus approach to security: people, technology, monitoring and response brought together to build resilience against threats that keep evolving. Chairing the ISRM Ireland Chapter gives Garry a platform to help raise standards across the profession, and we’re proud to see Manguard Plus contribute to that work.
